step 3 of 10
Fill the curved rectangle with the gradient, and resize with Free Transform to 500x200 pixels.
step 4 of 10
Duplicate step one to create the top and bottom rims for the crown base. Use the Burn and Dodge tools to shade the rims, and adjust the colors with Hue and Saturation.
step 5 of 10
Create the crown top with the Pen tool and color as you did the crown base rims.
step 6 of 10
Create a circular shape and fill it with red. On a new layer, create a main highlight shape with two brigher light spots, and a base highlight. Position on top of the red circle.
step 7 of 10
Duplicate the orb, and change colors with Image>Adjustments>Hue and Saturation.
step 8 of 10
Place the 5 orbs into a group, and label it "Center Orb. Duplicate the group 4 times, labeling them Left Side, Right Side, Left Outer, and Right Outer. Scale the Side groups down to 90%, and the Outer Groups to 75%. Position the grouped layers on top of the crown.
step 9 of 10
Create a text layer in the Center and Side orb groups for the letters 'P,' 'X,' and 'L,' giving each letter a Pillow Emboss layer style.
step 10 of 10
Above the crown, add a text layer saying "Talent." Create separate text layers for each of the 5 Pxleyes specialties, Photoshop, Photography, 3D, Drawing, and Digital Drawing. Use the Text Warp tool to bend the labels to fit onto the crown base. Then activate a color within each group, along with a specialty label to create 5 different crowns.
