The base model is 3 cubes, one for the box with a filter edge of 1 poly at 1 cm and the top two have the same edging and make up the flaps

A cylinder set and a pyramid form the eyes and mouth.

These are booled from the first cube

5 Duplicate cubes are made and rotated and scaled to make a torso, arms and legs.

The head is added and tilted down for effect and the this way up is text and shapes in pure black.

I use two lights, 1 frontal with area shadows and 1 above with soft shadows.

This is the final chosen camera angle, the camera was then set to focus on the head of the box man with a fstop of 0.4 and in the physical render the DOF was turned on.
