A small section of roof is lassoed onto a new canvas. It will be chopped with eraser tool then scaled to become the roof of our house.

Window section of one of the buildings is lassoed and chopped for front of house, and then duplicated for other side. The dupllication is distorted with edit/transform/distort tool to proper perspective for side of house.

The entire source photo is liquify warped into shapes which will be used for sky, fields, hills, and waterfall.

House is fit in between the hills.

Trees are created from a lassoed section of tree from the original source. Edges of leaves are finished off using the cloning tool. The trunk is painted in using the brush tool.
2 duplicates are made, using color adjustment tools to change their colors, and dodge tool to bring up highlights.

Canvas was made taller here, and sky and house elongated using scale tool.

At the end, it seemed that this image needed some life in it, so I painted in 5 (odd number) white birds in varying sizes using the hard paintbrush tool and trimming with eraser tool in soft mode to make edges a little softer. Of course, smaller as they went into the distance. Also, those up closer were whiter, and those further away burned a little with the burn tool.
