Scene is lit with two MentalRayOmni lights and 1MR Sky light. Planes have fire picture as texture(FOR REFLECTIONS). There are boxes added into scene for the reflections also.

A plane with texture created in material editor makes up the floor. The walls in B/G are chamfered box geometry with UVWMap and displace modifier, textured with material editor created map for a stone effect.

The materials applied to the objects making up the room and environment. All material/s, except those linked to already, were made in the mental ray material editor.

Using Photoshop pen tool, I created this shape. It was saved as a path in the Illustrator format Ai. and imported into 3D Max as an editable spline. This was in turn made into an edit poly modifier with an extrusion.

The embellishments were created using the a-fore mentioned spline model technique and an opacity map.

Shapes made in Photoshop. These were made as displacement maps and texture maps to be applied as an Opacity map to a plane inside 3D Max. The resulting models were then used as parts of the crown and the background element.

For the crown, beyond the shapes made from drawn vectors, I used circle, box and tube geometries. The Horns are a circle lofted along a spline/line path. The material was made using the material editor.
