Daisies are chopped, then separated, stems to be painted in with brush tool.
step 2 of 8
Original source photo is liquify warped into swirl shapes, then mezzotint filter added.
step 3 of 8
Liquify warped design is duplicated to make a number of layers which are flipped and rotated, opacity reduced so that they overlay each other like tissue paper. Color changes are made on some.
step 4 of 8
Daisies are added, rotating and scaling them to make a pleasing design. Most of the light will be hitting the front daisy edges, and one in rear is sent behind one of the background layers. Brush strokes in curly design will be added in layers behind daisies.
step 5 of 8
Here smaller butterflies were added, but will be removed for larger ones to be used. A 'star-like layer is added and center portion removed with eraser tool, leaving darker areas around edges and enough 'star-like' spots to look like the morning dew.

step 7 of 8
Butterfly is created using brush tools, then noise is added for texture. Shape is duplicated and scaled smaller and layered behind daisies.
step 8 of 8
Some burning is done around edges of whole image and also daisies where shadows would fall. Some highlighting with dodge tool is done on daisies where light would strike them, but edges near border are left to blend into background to add to the misty morning look.
