So, starting with a sphere, I shaped it using the FFD 4x4x4 modifier to be something like a mishaped egg.
step 2 of 8
The ground plane was deformed to create gentle hillocks using the paint deformation tools on the edit-poly rollout. I then applied Vray-autograss, and made the grass quite long.
step 3 of 8
The eyes are just sliced spheres deformed with the scale tool to an oval shape. The eyelids are extruded from that oval.
step 4 of 8
Add the hair and fur modifier, then using the styling toolsbrush the fur down and puffed out the roots. Reduced some of the kink and frizz, and increased the stiffness.
step 5 of 8
So next came the arm, to position it where I wanted and have precise control, I set up a simple bone structure. connect the bones and used a HI solver chain, to make sure the arm had realistic movement.
step 6 of 8
Placed the bone inside a cylinder for the arm, as the arm was to be covered in fur I just set the base material to a dark reddish colour RGB:55,0,0 so the skin wouldn't be apparent and I could use less strands and still have the same effect. The other arm behind his back is just a copy of the original.
step 7 of 8
I put the hair and fur modifier, on the arm, and styled it again. The went to Archive 3D and found a female model with a hand in a grasping shape (I can't do hands) Cut the hand off the model and attached to the cylinder arm, and again covered that in fur.
step 8 of 8
The flowers were dead simple just some sliced spheres shaped with scale and arranged in the shape of a flower. The sky is from The DOSCH HDRI collection, Used this HDRI map in the environment slot and the environment slot on the GI rollout in VRay 2.0. Set the multipier to around 1.2 The added a direct light set to about a 3.0 and the colour to a very pale yellow to mimic the sun.
