Creation of Water Ice: Step 6

step 7 of 8

Select the fluid-domain (Box), set "Resolution" to about 220 and press "Baking" to start the fluid calculations (this may take some time depending of the resolution you set). BUT: The higher the resolution, the more details you get.

Creation of Water Ice: Step 7

step 8 of 8

Choose the frame you like most. I took the 29th frame.
For the materials, you'll have to try a bit around with "Transparence" and minor "Reflectivity"... I tried a lot before I got a result wich suits me...
For the final image, just Render the scene.
Since the fluid animation is baken (saved), you may change camera, lights and material even at the very end of your work, allowing you to adapt sligthly the rendered image.
