Worked on the robot. Copied areas from the clock photo and transformed and position them onto the robot.

Worked on the details. Added texture using own custom brushes.

Added a slight blur (used Gaussian blur) to the background. Made some final adjustments to the Curves.

For the custom brushes, I made four of them using the clock photo.
I selected areas with interesting textures from the photo, copied and pasted them in a new document.

I set the Saturation to 0 and adjusted the Levels and Brightness to make the texture more visible.
Using Color Range, I made selections from each of the four areas. I further cleaned the selections by erasing unwanted areas from them.
I then saved each of the textures as different brushes.

These are the general settings I used for the brushes.
I just made adjustments to the values as needed.
** The trees on the background are made from the 2nd brush.
