A picture of my own as starting point.

Cropped and added a little depth of field.

Using the pen tool, I masked the bicycle. Yes, down to every spoke and cable. It was a lot of work, but it was the only proper way to do it.

I placed the bicycle into the composition.
step 5 of 9
Using the pen tool in combination with pixel based masking techniques, I masked the girl.
step 6 of 9
I then placed the girl into the composition as well.
step 7 of 9
Added some adjustment layers to match the color of the background and the bike to the girl.
step 8 of 9
Added some lighting, radiosity to the girl and added a blurry reflection of her right sneaker to the bike.
step 9 of 9
Added overall color adjustment to reach final image.
