Personal image. Saturation was lowered on this image as well as the raygun display, then the watercolor filter was used on both.

Made the corner element from a square on one layer, a circle on the next layer, and deleted the part of the square where they overlapped. Then the different layer styles were applied. Pattern size was adjusted for each of the four corner elements.
The background began with a light color with noise added, then the old paper on top has linear burn blend mode; the gears were added at low opacity, and all was slightly burned around the edges, as was the display.
