Step 1:old pic of me taken in a mirror. Duplicate The Background Layer:- right click on the layer and choose duplicate layer.
step 2 of 9
Next, we need to add a new blank layer between our Background layer and the new copy we just created, and fill with black.
step 3 of 9
above the new black layer we created, add another new layer. Your palette should look like this:-
step 4 of 9
Select the Rectangular Marquee Tool from the Tools palette
step 5 of 9
With the Rectangular Marquee Tool selected, drag out a selection inside your image; this will become the inside of the first photo. It doesn't really matter where you make this selection since you'll be able to move it anywhere you like later: fill the selection with black at this point. Make sure you have the new blank layer selected in the Layers palette (see below).
We're going to use the selection we just filled with black to create what's called a clipping mask for the layer above it. To create our clipping mask, click on "Layer 1copy" to select it in the Layers palette. Then go up to the Layer menu at the top of the screen and select Create Clipping Mask
step 6 of 9
Photoshop "clips" the image on "Layer 1 copy", keeping only the area above the black-filled shape and hiding the rest of the image, revealing our black background
Create a new layer above the black layer. Using the Rectangular Marquee Tool make a slightly bigger square, as if you are making a border for the photo, and fill with white.
step 7 of 9
group all three layers which make up the photo, these are the top three layers in the Layers palette. "Layer 1" contains the image itself, "Layer 3" contains the inside of the photo, and "Layer 4" contains the outside of it. Hold ctrl and click the layers to select all three, Then, with all three layers selected, use the keyboard shortcut Ctrl+G You'll see all three layers disappear from the Layers palette and be replaced by a layer named "Group 1"
step 8 of 9
Right hand click group1 and duplicate the group
step 9 of 9
Open the group and select the small black layer and the small white layer inside the new group and move it to a new location, we just repeat the exact same process over and over until we've added enough photos to reveal enough of the original image.Keeping the two layers selected you can rotate or enlarge, it is up to you,
