I then drop the extruded cube shape in to a HyperNerb object

from the HyperNerb object I then used a Cloner object to create multiple copies of the HyperNerb object.

I added 2 omni light to the scene. I set these lights to be Volumetric. I then set the entire scene inside a Cube filed with a black Fog Material. Set the Camera and Render.
