A couple of friends. I liked their position for my composition

The ugly cat. I cut the cat out of the original picture then painted in its place random clone stamps from the remaining background. Solarized the result, set it as "difference" and made a clipping mask with the original cut out cat. Then overlayed another copy of the original cat and adjusted opacities to my taste.

Masked out front llama. Added cat parts - half of face and feet and tail.

The four pics masked and arranged as I wanted. All that was left was some smudging, shadows, highlights, and some adjusting of colors.
