The Mars surface consists of two planes. Each of these planes has a high segment count. To these planes I used soft selection on certain vertices and adjusted them along the Z axis.

The domes are spheres, 2 each. One of each of these spheres has the lattice modifier.

This model is made of cylinders, capsules and splines.
