start by making a sketch of how you want the result to look like, then start to fill in with all the components, I started with the rocks.

Then I made the beach sand using different shades of sandcolors

After the beach its the sea that needs to be painted in, I started with a shade of bleu as a background

then I started to put in some waves and low-rollers mainly using whites and light bleus
step 5 of 8
keep on tweaking the waves and add some splashes and white waterfoam on the beach
step 6 of 8
to make the picture complete add a sky
step 7 of 8
to create an impression of a clouded, rainy day make clouds in light grey shades and make them a bit darker at the top

place the image behind the delivered foreground to get the endresult
