step 1 of 4

I did not make SBS while I was actually sketching this so I re-did the steps on the final sketch to show my approach.
I started off with drawing outlines of hands with lighter pencil strokes.

step 2 of 4

After drawing the outline of hands I made strokes for wrinkles and folds on both hands.

Creation of Hanging on: Step 2

step 3 of 4

After the basic structure of hands were done I started with shading, which I think is the trickiest part of drawing a sketch. First you have to decide the source of light that you'd be assuming and then according to that give shades in your drawing. All the shapes and roundness of portions ha to be shaded according to the light and if it doesn't match in various regions of sketch then the sketch will look unrealistic. This part too me a lot of time.

step 4 of 4

When the shading part was complete, to add the final touch I took a darker and sharper pencil and made darker outlines on the sketch again. Then added nails and darker lines for wrinkles.
