Erased the pear edges, played with the levels for the apple and the biten part fit each other, replaced the part of an apple with a patch, made from the wall above.
step 4 of 9
"Cleaned" around the apple with the healing brush tool, used burn and dodge tools where there should be highlights and shades on the bite.
For the 2nd apple I took twice same part of a pear to make the bite more wide:
step 5 of 9
Did same manupulations as with the 1st bite, it happened for me more easy to cut an apple before working on it and to remove the metal parts going over.
step 6 of 9
Time to try green apple. I chose the shape of the bite:
step 7 of 9
Did all the same.. Metal basket (vase!) got hurt of course, that's why I will use extra top layer with the vase that I did at the beginning.
step 8 of 9
Need to take care of the shadow. I selected biten part of the green apple, floped it vertically and transformed it to fit the shadow form.
step 9 of 9
Had to select the shadow of metal again to put it above.. Yeah, I guess it can be done using masking, but that was my first blending experience!
So for the bite shadow I've used equalize, levels and burn tools to make it look more realistic.
