Chimp has been chopped from source and added to a new canvas. Here the hair lost around the edges are starting to be replaced with wacom pen tool.

Using brush define tool, this shows a brush made for helping replace hairy edges of chimp.

Hat background scene has been added after chimps hair is finished. Left side of background is painted in with a solid color to give better contrast to the chimp.

Hat is chopped and added to scene. It must be sized to fit chimp's head, then erased where is fits behind his head. Some burning is done on side away from light source.

Here a stool is drawn and painted in with brush tool in order to lift chimp up closer to center of image

Burn tool is used on hat and stool for shadows and dodge tool for some highlights.

Hat sale sign is painted over and new text applied.

Using blur tool, chimp's mouth is opened so he can blow smoke rings.

A cigar has been added with brush tool, then smoke using soft brush tools.
