Repaired the wheels with clone stamp and paint brush. Added prop blur by creating shape with the pen and then filling it with some color. To this layer I used gaussian blur and lowered the opacity.

To remove the existing airplane and it's shadow I cut clean samples from the picture and placed them over areas to be repaired. The eraser and clone stamp was then used to clean up the blending.

Added the Corsair in background and the main Corsair's shadow. For the shadow the pen tool was used to make the shape then it was filled with color. This layer was Gaussian blurred, blend mode to multiply, and the opacity adjusted.
