Start with a Circle which you extrude to get the shape of your airbrush.

The air input trigger is made with an Gear-object, which can be found under Add/Mesh/Extra Object/Gears/

If you can't see this, turn the objects on in the User Settings under "Addons".

The air input tube is made of a circle again (to do the metal part) and a BezierCurve with an BezierCircle applied as Bevel object.

The paint container use the same method for the metal part (upper tank part). The tube inside is again a BezierCurve with an BezierCircle. The Glass Tank is a cube with subdivision-modifier, a few Loop Cut and Slides to give it a rounded shape.

So this is what the whole airbrush looks like after these steps...

All you have to do now is to set op the background and the lights and so on...

Here's what it looked like in my preview window. I used 2 planes as a light source (set planes material to "Emitting"), a sphere as environment. I choose a light green color.

Finally, render the scene in "Cycles render" mode.
