Great work this is very nice.

Pretty funny
(5 years and 2311 days ago)
hmm I always thought buoy was the stuff used in ocean for markers and marking of anchor and crab pots locations. I heard that in some place fishing floats are also called fishing buoy. But Swimming floats or Swim Rings ?
Oh well good job . The only thing you missed is the ring ridge seams where they heat sealed the air filling assembly piece to the plastic sheet that make up the tube. Its generally about 1/2 inch around the blow tube. on the one I have seen.

I love it, well done!
(5 years and 2319 days ago)
Simply awesome!
(5 years and 2319 days ago)
Superbly done - this is really something to look at and looks very realistic. I like the natural background selection.
(5 years and 2322 days ago)
This is fantastic work - It is clean and very creative - the blending work is superbly done and the layout and color scheme are really well thought out. One of my favorites.
(5 years and 2322 days ago)
very well done, congrats
(5 years and 2322 days ago)
fantastic job, congrats
(5 years and 2322 days ago)
me neither, I modeled the mechanical parts in Blender and finished in zbrush
(5 years and 2323 days ago)
Nice modeling. I cant get my head around Zbrush for mechanical modeling. All i use it for is Texture (Normal/bumps) and adjustment of model created in other program.
(5 years and 2323 days ago)
There is no back ground image used. The background you see is the HDRI environment.
(5 years and 2323 days ago)
The Material used are from C4D. The flowing material was used.
All material are from the Visualization Category of standard Material
From the Metal set LEAD, BRASS, CHROME, IRON
From the HDRI set HDRI_02
(5 years and 2324 days ago)
Don't forget to mention the background source
Otherwise, remove the background completely... it will make your model stand out more I think
(5 years and 2324 days ago)
Dear Moderator: I did not list link to an external source because this image did not use one. All material come from the Visualization package that come with C4D this include the HDRI that made up the background of this image.

Author!!! Fantastic job! Now I can cast my vote! I am very glad that I was able to help you. I am not a 3D master, or anything. But I have been in school for animation for a while, which is why you don't see a lot of entries from me. I just don't always have the time for my own projects. But I like to see what other people have submitted and critique them, and see others' critiques. Makes my own projects better. I hope that this was a good experience for you, too!

Thanks, verry good information.
Caustics are wonderful, you can see the différence (before-after) in the SBS
(5 years and 2348 days ago)
Author. I found it. It's called caustics. Look that up and see if it is something that you would like to add to your image to make it better. If not, the image is pretty good. But caustics gives light that quality it has when it passes through a refractive surface, like water or glass and lands on another surface, in this case the book.
(5 years and 2348 days ago)
I know what it is, but I have forgotten what it is called. I will find it and tell you.
(5 years and 2348 days ago)
Hello
I am agree with your comments.
I do the modification for the book reflection and replace the picture.
For the light reflection of the glasses, i don't have the solution for the moment but i do new light test...
(5 years and 2348 days ago)
My only concern is that that red book seems to be reflecting the glasses. It shouldn't be reflective at all, I don't think. There should be shaddows cast on the book, and the light passing through the lenses should be show on the book like in the source image. But your book is oddly reflective for the material it is made of!

Thanks for your comments.I try to do a big treasure with realistic details...event if it isn't very original.
(5 years and 2350 days ago)
Pretty good job, the lantern and sword certainly add something to the pirate atmosphere. Good luck!

(5 years and 2364 days ago)
Of course you will do better next time! That's the beauty of this forum! We learn from each other and get better! Bravo author.
(5 years and 2364 days ago)

(5 years and 2364 days ago)
Still need texture source. And a more Detailed steps in SBS
(5 years and 2364 days ago)
Go to Profile on this page menu. Under Profile->My Entry. Then Edit SBS on the Edit SBS page. This allows you to add Steps or modify your current steps.
(5 years and 2364 days ago)
Very creative and well executed, good luck!
(5 years and 2364 days ago)
its not letting me to edit my sbs, im sorry i was confused about the sbs rule, will keep in mind from the next time to add more sbs, but i can show more of my sbs of this image with some image hosting sites if pxleyes will allow me to do that
(5 years and 2364 days ago)
i will surely show them, actually i was confused while uplaoding the pic that what i should upload in sbs, i will post them in few mins
(5 years and 2364 days ago)
All we're asking for is a little more detail in your SBS. This site is fairly new on the 3D side and because 3D software is so difficult to learn it really helps people to see how you made the sofa or the bed, how you lit the scene, what render setting you may have used.
(5 years and 2364 days ago)
i got few words for u STFU dear
(5 years and 2364 days ago)
Looks ok, but I'd expect more light reflection in the darker bulbs. Good luck!
(5 years and 2364 days ago)
Fun stuff, author. Maybe the light in the back is a bit bright (and it looks like it's not the main light), maybe you can add more smaller spot-/flash lights instead? Good luck!
(5 years and 2364 days ago)
Completely agree with DotD, if you can make the bite look like someone actually has bitten in it, it will look real convincing. Now it's more like the shape is part of how the chocolate is designed. Good luck!
