Symmetry mostly. My camera maxes at 400 m and the crop quadrupled the focal length bringing out the details. The composition looked right to my eye and well.....I just liked it! :

I like the colour palette of this photo, it is eye-catching.

Nice sharp eyes and that does MATTER a lot because all other sins can be forgiven for the mostpart. I like the movement caught of her lip...she's ready to meow or eat you I do agree with Photonut and think it would be a stronger photo with the ear not nipped.
