Nice choice but the only thing in focus is the kid. I would have made him the main focus and take a lot of attention off the blurred bowling lane.

A picture of birds does not constitute a hobby. If anything you are photographing birds and that is against the contest rules.

Bird watching is different to bird photography, this is a photo that I took whilst bird watching. Fair enough this picture may not fit what you would prefer the rules to be as you have stated above, but unless the rules are changed I believe my picture above and taking into account the fact that bird watching is a hobby of mine (and is an example in the rules) plus the rules stating the picture may include animals, I believe it does fit within the rules.

jawshoewhah, I think I have told you before, the beauty is in the eye of the beholder.............Sometimes, it is nice to dive and to be able to see the sea, instead of it being crowded with fish and corals. As it happens, this dive site is one of my favourites, because of the topography, not because of the aquatic life.
