Contest goal:

friiskiwi: Looking at the entries so far, most people seems to think Bokeh means shallow DOF, to me Bokeh is interesting patterns and light in the out of focus areas. Could we have a little more clarification. ( 5 years and 3741 days ago )
adeincyprus: Looking at the amount of entries already placed in these new contests, it is obvious that a lot, if not most, of the users here have a stock of photos which they ues. That is sad, because they are not encouraged to go out and shoot new material......maybe it is about time pxl put a date limit on entries, to encourage new material............especially as the contests themselves seem to be repeated over and again... FallingHorse: I think most entries have confused DOF with Bokeh. I think there should be a date limit for all entries ie - shot within the previous 12 months (allow for different seasons in hemispheres) ( 5 years and 3738 days ago )
friiskiwi: FallingHorse is so right about the confusion between Bokeh and DOF, Do wish the moderators would start deleting some of the ones that don't fit the theme. I have tried to red flag some of them, but we can no longer see what we have red flagged, so I have given up. ( 5 years and 3736 days ago )

I am sure you gonna wonder how did i manage to get this effect...the "heart shape" bokeh effect.Easy...all you have to do is cut a piece of black paper,make a hole in the center with the desirable shape you want(in this case a heart) place it in front of your camera lens,zoom,manual focus to blur the background & here you are...You have a very nice bokeh effect & an O R I G I N A L (not in PS) vignette.
