oof=out of focus: It's really hard to tell without a high res version. The one available is not much bigger than what I'm looking at now. Hope it doesn't break contest rules.

oof!!.....for a macro shot of this nature, I think this is pretty well shot. it could be construed as 'soft' as opposed to oof! And, I always thought the Hi Res was an 'option' in these contests! Try judging the photo on the visible artistic and technical merits rather than slamming it for not having a Hi Res version.

MGE -- what it stands for?

This is a Migraleve pill, used for treating severe migranes. Not sure what MGE is but it will most likely be the active ingredient which I cannot find on the packaging for you.
