Butterfly lighting is a lighting technique often used in portrait photography. In a studio, the main light is placed fairly high, directly in front of the face - aimed at the center of the nose, so it casts a shadow, shaped like a butterfly beneath the nose.
In this contest, your goal is to show a portrait that is photographed with this kind of lighting setup. Here is a tutorial on how to achieve this effect. If you don't have the required materials, try using the equipment you have available.
