The area above & under the eye is boh (blow out highlights,it's when the light is to strong,that you loose detail).I think that you should try it again!

Maybe if you place the light source far from your eye (not too far) you'll get better results!

Actually it's not that bad of a shot. Fits the theme as well. Wiseman, I believe the author used a macro setting for this shot and the front grapes are in focus. I like it, it gives the image more depth. GL!

i love the grainy look but to me this looks blurry

with a 2MP phone camera, it happens.. but I believe the idea works than the equipment..

It's on theme but still a little OOF. I'm glad you nailed the concept of the theme but the focus is going to hurt your score.
