Out The Dark - Photography Contest [61 entries]
Contest goal:
Here's one artistic challenge for you: take a shot of something or someone partially coming out of the dark. Now careful, this does not mean that you place your subject on a black background and take a photo of it...
You must have only one subject in your photo that gradually becomes visible, out of the darkness. This means a part of your subject has to be in the dark still. This is a good practice for playing with light and shadows. Good luck!

kyricom: Because, Wiseman, some of us have been on this site (or the previous one) for several years. People, over time, tend to develop personal styles and we can recognize some. There is an individual, who often wins normal themes, with a personal style that is basically what this theme asks for.

maclu2iaf: yep, for an example: 'take a photo of an old man' . So you took a picture of an old man with glasses sitting on a chair holding a cup of tea while he's smoking a cigar...and YES the old man still a subject..but if it rule says 1 object as a subject i can say its defenitely out of topic.
