OK...think I have this digital IR thing sorted out, took two days to figure out post-processing for it. Shot w/ Optika R72 IR filter...originals upon request to show it was actual IR shooting. 15sec @ f/5.6 (5 years and 3560 days ago)
nice work author, this was a difficult challenge and you have a great first attempt here. I hope you continue to try more in the future, we all know these contests have a way of comming around more than once! LOL
Beautiful, love it.
Thankyou, the strangest thing about the shot was, I knew the grass and tree would go white, so I dressed the model in ALL black to contrast with the background...much to my surprise, the black jacket, the black shirt and the dark sunglasses all went white and the black jeans and boots stayed?!?
Nicely composed, I just love the unpredictability of the infrareds. Good Luck
Well...Now I know for future reference, after a bit more research, IR can "see" through window tint, sunglasses, and some types of clothing materials! Cool...guess I'll have to dress my wife in that rayon dress and see what happens! LOL!!!
nice
