Mellanie, you can't focus in on something close up and far away at the same time. Of course the background is going to be OOF. It actually improved the focus on the main subject. I think you need to find your glasses.

High res please, I tend to vote lower if there isn't a high res, wondering if the author was trying to hide something.

agree...always post hi rez...shows you have nothing to hide and you can get better tips and comments from people being able to really examine the work author...btw, nice entry
