I am not keen on shooting in the direction of the sun, I usually try and avoid it where possible. This shot was taken late afternoon, as the sun burst through the clouds, I could not resist shooting it.
I converted to black and white, I liked the effect, it has more impact I think. (5 years and 3620 days ago)

This is an HDR shot. No filters. -2, -1, +1. Each shot was taken about 20 seconds apart (giving the sun time to move through the tree) which is why the sunburst has such a unique look.
