is the "graininess" on purpose?

Actually it is... I took it this way, because of the 50's-60's look... I thought it matched the style!

the grainy quality throws it off. would be a better shot if it were more clear and in focus.

The pose was wonderful but you actually should not have added the graininess. It totally detracted from the entire feel of the piece. If you were going for a 50s or 60s look you might have tried a black and white or sepia tone......Good Luck

Could have used some white balance correction and a little cropping.

Focus is too soft imo. I think I would have adjusted the levels and contrast a bit to give it a bit more depth. Great pose though, GL.

I agree that the pose is great... but, curiously, the picture looks like something taken a while back and scanned... seems to be washed out by the years...
