We've all gotten angry and wanted to punch a wall before. Well, now's your chance!
The object of this contest is to showcase an impact of some sort. Cars, fists, balls, or whatever you can think of can be used in this shot (so long as they are striking something else). People ARE allowed, but please be careful (e.g. don't sneak up on your friend and sock him in the jaw just to get a cool photo). Be creative and try for clarity/lack of blur.
Required level: 10+ or higher. Status: finished. Check out the winners below!

Howdie stranger! If you want to participate in this contest, just:
I am still going to enter this contest, fully knowing that I cannot compete....amazing shot, wonderfully composed, clarity etc, etc, etc. Stunning! Looking forward to the tutorial....thanks for sharing this amazing work
I would only suggest a minor adjustment in the composition and framing. It's a very powerful image and I think it would work even beter if you had the arm comming straight from the top and in the centre so that we could see the full splash in the frame.
Wiseman a wise man one said "if you can't say something nice don't say anything at all" as I look at all of your comments I see a pattern. Did you even look at who this author is before commenting? I highly doubt they are using someone else's photo, but for the sake of argument lets say they are, since you are so familiar with this shot would you please provide the rest of us with the link to it.
wiseman...yes, please do provide us with that link as this IS my own photograph! I have about 125 other shots ALMOST like this one as that's about how many it took to get the timing correct LOL!!!
@ wiseman...Ummm yea, liquid library...I googled the term and it returned 2,360,000 results...and there is NO specific www.liquidlibrary.com...a broken, or mispointed URL...either post the entire URL to the specific photograph so we can all see what you are accusing me of or knock it off...I didn't get where I am on here by "stealing" and posting other artist's work, I don't need to.
I took this photo yesterday afternoon at my sink, using a 1995 P minted dime I had in my pocket, I have the original (all 134 of them) and the accompanying EXIF info as well as the shooting instructions for getting this shot..
either put up or shut up...this is really getting annoying
wow chill .......fine u want some real feed back........if you look real close at the high res....nothing is sharp.......im pretty sure your flash was set too high of power, which means it takes that extra split second to charge up before it fires, which results in bad stop motion=nothing in focus. the way to get things like this is focus, is turn your flash all the way down b in complete darkness hold the bulb open drop the dime fire the flash at as low power as possible.

Actually...thank you wiseman...that was a darn site more helpful, I will try that in the future...my flash synchs with the camera all the way up to 1/8000th, this was shot at 1/4000th at f16 and I still had problems with the stop motion and was wondering how it was done properly.
Very good job...love the look of the dust flying around...
jawshoewhah [banned] says:
Motion blur on the hammer would have made it more animated but that's just IMO...
author says:
Jaws thanks for your comment, but, according to the contest guidelines..."Be creative and try for clarity/lack of blur." If I would have added motion blur, it would likely have been redflagged by everyone else...
