You know, we learn at school the differences between venomous snakes and non-venomous ones. The eyes, head shape, tale shape, fangs... But I don't wanna know, if I face one of them, I'll run quickly!
This is one of my favorites too. While shooting, I knew it was only a garter snake, but the closer I got, the less sure I was that it was non-venomous. Thanks for your comments.
There is not a single live snake in this country, not even at the Zoos. I tried to photograph a Tuatara, but they are hibernating at this time of the year.
