I was staying with a friend in New Jersey and we decided to go window shopping in the city and catch a late dinner. We went into a strange antique store buried under the sprawling skyscrapers outside of Ground Zero and the shop owner let me take pictures of some of the antiques in macro. We said our good byes and as we walked back to the ferry and I saw this array of skyscrapers. I took this shot, forgetting that the camera was set on Macro and I was cold and shivering. When I got home to view it closer I was about to delete it when my friend said... KEEP IT! Those lights were off for a long time! (Completely forgetting that I had just been on the fringe of ground zero where much of the city was just coming back to life)
