We have had stop motion/high speed photography contests in the past, but they usually have fairly broad guidelines. Let's make this one more specific.
Take a shot of glass breaking. Not glass that is already broken, but is actually in the process of breaking.

an interesting shot...........how did you achieve it, without damage to whoever the hand belongs to!

You want my secrets!?!? Ok fine I'll share. I hollowed out the bulb then filled it with clear gelatin, then i put a small hole where the thumb is that way not a lot of pressure had to be applied to break it. The gelatin acted as a cushion slowing the movement so that 1. capturing this was a bit easier and 2. the fingers wouldn't go in to far increasing the risk of cutting my hand. And I didn't escape unscathed, if you look at the high res you'll see at the top of the thumb one of the shards is starting to go in, didn't do too much damage though.
OMG author - you have far too much time on your hands lol Thanks for the details though - very creative

Author, that is one of the most clever ideas I have heard and really related a unique, yet puzzling effect. This is one of the best I've seen! GL to you!
I never realized how sturdy lightbulbs are nowadays. After numerous drops on various surfaces, only to have them bounce away, I finally got out a piece of marble. Even then, about half the time they just bounced! Finally got a usable one. :-) (5 years and 3470 days ago)
Wow, this is interesting. Can you give a description to what type of settings you used and maybe what kind of glass is it? It's a good contrast between the two shades so kudos to your creativity!
