actually I already did a bit, but any more and the balls turn more of a pink color. That's why I went with grayscale.

They're both nice. Personally, I like the color better, but good luck whichever you decide to go with.

Different subject.. however, demonstration of size difference is missing here as we don't know head and tail of the species...

ummmm, I'm not sure why you'd need to know the head from the tail to see these are different sizes. But, as with most animals of this type, the tail is the narrowing, tapered end.
