The Nokia N91 is a mobile phone that was released to the public in April of 2006.
It's main feature (innovative for the standards of that days) was a 4GB hard drive to store approximately 3,000 songs.
It is considered the benchmark in music department and till date, no phone has ever matched up to the audio quality of N91 through headphones.
N91 uses a special Toshiba DAC-33 DSP chip and a powerful in-built amplifier to boost up its volume while using acoustic and its Hard drive provides an exceptionally Hi-Fi audio experience.
Final result was, It had louder, deep bass rich sound with perfect low and mid range frequency which has not been achieved by any sony, ipod or not even apple's iphone.
Love it back then...
