You could say that the focal point of the image is the key and this is made up almost enitrely of square tiles, so its right on theme!
It's a nice shot, lets not nitpick about whether one side is 2mm longer than the others.

I'm not so sure this is on topic as there are both rectangles and squares in the picture, but i was trying to keep the main focus on the overall square shape of the top of the box. But when the box is closed it is a cube. (5 years and 3467 days ago)
It's a square all right author!
But vignettes are not allowed.

Okay, thanks! =) i've removed the vignette and lowered the exposure of the whole picture instead =) but not sure why there's what appears to be a halo around the box? any ideas why that's there, and any tips on how to stop it being created when taking a photo?
What lens do you use author?
I think that if the f number is very small (1.4 - 1.8 - 2.8 f.e) you get that effect.Happened to me a few times!
I am not sure about that...i think it has to do with the DOF.

Well there's definitely some squares in the photo but I wouldn't say they're the main focus.
I don't know. If the squares weren't in the photo, there would be nothing to focus ON. Nice take on theme
I can see both points, either way it's creative
