Ok , Someone had to do it...here are your drops! (5 years and 3462 days ago)
I keep coming on this one cause i can't figure out what is "that thing" that makes the back ground noisy but ONLY on the black part of it!The whole photo is hell sharp (the glass, the white foreground) but as the eye travels to the background (on the black part) there's something that "looks" like noise but it can't be!
Help author...put me out of my misery!
Beautiful shot. Please, could you tell me what I need to make black background pictures with such a good lighting?
Nezpa - the basic first requirement to getting lighting like this is to be able to get the flash or lighting off the camera and be able to shoot. This was shot with Hi-speed sync flash off camera at about a 30 degree angle and using a diffuser at 1/4000 th of a second shutter speed. the background in this case was a piece of plexi-glass painted flat black i use for many types of shots.
Any type of light will do for off-camera lighting as long as it's bright enough and can be moved about to experiment with the angles. I also recommend the use of a reflector (white piece of stiff cardboard) to fill shadows... I will work on a guide soon as I have time...PM me if any further questions.
Thank you very much!
lol.............just how many shots of this particular cup of coffee do you have, I have lost count...........
Perfect one, the lights are perfectly positioned.
