No people or animals should be in the shot, although whatever is causing the smoke can be if you choose to include it. The smoke should be the focus of the shot, however. Absolutely stunning, Author. After staring at this for the past 15 minutes I think I understand how you did it and I have to say I'm amazed. Perhaps after this week you'd be so kind as to not submit for a while and give the rest of us a chance?

stunning doesn't really cover it.
Thanks everyone....I am humbled.... Dragon was propped upside down with a little tilt, camera to match angle...dragon lit up with low power flash... smoke lit up with higher power flash with red filter on it. Smoke flash was on floor behind so as not to light up dragon too much. Thanks for comments as always.
