It does look very familiar to me

It's a nice image but the city is extremely subtle.

It's a colorful shot, might want to bump up the saturation, however in high res it is slightly out of focus. I'm sure this is definitely some kind of park. Where's the city?

Ade, the park is in the city, it has a surface of 74 hectares, and in order to have empty alleys I had gone there in a working day, early in the morning. In any case, you san see another similar alley of this park in this site:

It is nothing in the background ade, but so strait alley itself evidence that it is manmade park , not a wild nature. IMHO, of course.

at momvera, not necessarily, I have seen avenues like this that are not parks, but roads or lanes leading to big houses. The lack of anything else in the shot does not help the case.

I just want to underline that this place is in Romania, not in some rich old country. There will hardly be such an alley in Bucharest leading to some ancient castle...
Actually the guy in blue was emptying the waste bin.
In other words, believe it or not, it's a park. A magnificent one.

I am not disbelieving you, just quting the guidelines for the contest.....

I have to say I agree with Ade on this one. Contest guidelines did specify show some kind of cityscape in the background and and this image just doesn't show it.

The high res is good

I thought it was neat that I caught them kissing--perfect timing. I only wish I had a wide angle lens to show the rest of the park too.
