I think you should bump up the contrast a little and maybe play with curves or just bump up the saturation levels. GL!

Thank you jawsh, and jeaniblog, I fixed it as much as I could now -- did the levels, but can't do it more, because either whites becoming blown or I'm loosing details in black parts.

Nice shot, but could use a little more contrast. Also try uploading the image at Full Resolution.

It's an interesting photo but give it a title. Even just calling red and black boats would be better.
