In this general panorama contest, your goal is to take multiple photos and post-edit them to stitch them together in a panorama photo.
From now on HDR, panoramas and some other post-editing techniques are allowed in all photography contests and this contest is a way to introduce this change.
Please read the allowed/not allowed alteration sections in the photography guidelines for more details.
Required level: 10+ or higher. Status: finished. Check out the winners below!
jeaniblog: Interesting although we just had a panorama contest back in August as I recall. ( 5 years and 3355 days ago )
jawshoewhah: that's what I was thinking. We just did this. ( 5 years and 3355 days ago )
friiskiwi: love the change to rules, and I'm sure we can all find some new panoramas ( 5 years and 3355 days ago )
Contest Moderator: The reason this contest was chosen was to kick off the new rules regarding Panorama and HDR shots ( 5 years and 3355 days ago )
Contest Moderator: The last panorama contest was almost a year ago if I'm not mistaken. Which one are you talking about jeaniblog? General themes like this can re-occur once or twice per year. ( 5 years and 3355 days ago )
jawshoewhah: Your mistaken Mod: http://www.pxleyes.com/photography-contest/15121/panoramic-view.html ( 5 years and 3355 days ago )
jawshoewhah: that one was just a little over a month ago. ( 5 years and 3355 days ago )
locksmagic: Josh you may be right, but whether it was a month or a year ago seems to be kind of moot point if the whole reason for this contest is to introduce new rules. ( 5 years and 3354 days ago )
bartoszwozniak: The word panorama is spelt wrong in the contest heading ( 5 years and 3354 days ago )
Contest Moderator: Thanks jawshoewhah, you're right. Any panorama contests in the future will have a more specific theme. Suggestions are always welcome. Good luck! ( 5 years and 3353 days ago )
friiskiwi: It would be nice if everybody stated how many images were used. ( 5 years and 3351 days ago )
jeaniblog: Hey Mods, which 'other post-editing techniques' are now allowed please? ( 5 years and 3351 days ago )
Contest Moderator: try reading the forum from time to time, all the news is in there. ( 5 years and 3350 days ago )
jeaniblog: Just read the forum, can't see what other techniques we can use? ( 5 years and 3350 days ago )
k5683: read the rules and guidelines to see which other techniques are not allowed ( 5 years and 3349 days ago )

Very different. I like it. Might have been nice to catch a little furniture on the "up" one too for symmetry. But a way cool shot
