Show us your best, most creative shot of a road. This can be a freeway, a highway, a racetrack, a country dirt road...you get the point. Unlike the brick roads contest, if it's made to be driven on by a full sized vehicle, it counts here. Just be sure that the road is clearly visible in the shot and you'll be fine... Vehicles and people on the road are allowed as well. Good luck!
jawshoewhah: Here's a question: If it is obvious that the road is not meant for car traffic (like a bike trail) is it off theme? ( 5 years and 3371 days ago )

Thanks MnM. i was suprised no one else had entered a railroad yet.
and... i laid on the tracks while the train was stopped getting filled with grain to get that shot and a few others. the sun was awful bright that evening, so i hoped i didn't blow the highlights too bad. but the raise in contrast and the clarity really helped this shot!

I really like this shot, would like to be standing there!
I am not usually a fan of HDR but this is a fascinating image! Great work!
I was thinking at first glance if you both used a panorama and HDR. Nice effect! GL!
