Taken about halfway down the Kenai Peninsula last Fall. In the interest of full disclosure, I did sharpen the photo a bit and did some minor color adjusting to bring out the red.
I used to be amazed by these shots, I thought that to be able to get a shot like this you had to have a ton of training and be a pro. I had no idea it was just a tripod and a slow shutter, and now seeing who this author is I know it doesn't take any talent
Seriously though I do still love these long exposure shots, excellent job Author, nice capture!

Oh... you're supposed to use a tripod? (actually, the hard part wasn't the shot, it was getting to the place to take the shot. There are no paths or anything and I had to climb down about a 40 foot gorge wall carrying the tripod and equipment. Good thing I have that Adonis-like Olympian body!!!)
