jawshoewhah: Thankyou Mr M, for adding a 9th contest. It is much appreciated! And a good suggestion as well. ( 5 years and 3334 days ago )
jawshoewhah: Um, who came up with the idea? Wasn't mine. ( 5 years and 3334 days ago )

jeaniblog: Bit similar to 'closed eyes' imo... ( 5 years and 3331 days ago )
jawshoewhah: You can relax with your eyes open ( 5 years and 3331 days ago )
jawshoewhah: When I relax, I got my eyes open and usually drinking herbal tea... sorta.... ( 5 years and 3328 days ago )
jawshoewhah: ok something herbal ( 5 years and 3328 days ago )
kyricom: a lot of shots of cats.... but... isn't "relaxed cat" redundant? ( 5 years and 3328 days ago )
BRUCEBROUWN: I posted a PhotoArtwork of mine in th photography contest "relaxation" (also on my website).
I wonder if its according the rules, because I made the background black and I do not want to provide the highres version because I don't want it to get on the internet in a highres "printable" version.
Is this against the rules ????
should I withdraw my photo from the contest ?
thnx for your help !!

jawshoewhah: Bruce, try the forum next time. You'll get an answer faster. You don't have to provide high res, but it does help your score and people would like to judge the finer details of your entries. ( 5 years and 3324 days ago )

I love to listen to the harp when played well, but have yet to see a harpist really relaxing when playing. they take concentration and effort, two traits hardly associated with relaxation.
author says:
i know the harpist personally, he is the most relaxed & calm person I ever met-he has been playing all of his life, it just comes naturally for him.
i feel the term relaxation does not necessarily mean absence of all activity...a person doing something that he/she truly loves doing is i guess the best form of relaxation....if lying down and falling asleep were the only means of relaxation available many of us would have just been snoozing rather than taking photographs!! what say?

Right on agthakurtas!!! WELL SAID!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Looks like she's taking a break from the havic of getting ready and the awwww from the cig is sooo relaxing! (I plan to quit after the honeymoon but I know the feeling of this picture oh so well!)
author says:
I think only smokers can relate! T hank's for the comment! This is so ME TOO!!!!
There are lots of shots taken on film that don't show grain. There are crystal clear shots taken on film. Sometimes grain adds to a shot, but certainly not always
I think it's a nice shot. I like the fact that she's smaller and a little more subtle
author says:
Thanks at first I was thinking of ways to crop, to make her appear larger, but If I lost any of that water effect it would have defeated the "relaxation" effect.
