Some advice- the subject should not be in the middle

I usually don't, I decided I liked it this way in this case. Your advice particularly is appreciated though.

This could be lovely, but you need to do some colour correcting, too loose some of the purple, and do upload a higher resolution.

Nice, but the sky is a touch over exposed. Might lower levels a notch or two (which could also make the liquid in the glass look cooler)

Thanks kyricom, had a play around but because it was shot directly into the sun and it was still quite high in the sky I'm not sure I can fix the blownout part??

One thing you might try (if levels don't help enough) is to go into "selective color" (if your program has that) and choose "white." Then, while adjusting whites, raise the "black" just a little bit. GL
