These are fossilized tracks of a Cheilichnus from approximately 280 million years ago. They are extremely unusual in that they are from a reptile, but it walked like a mammal. Reptiles generally have their legs sticking out perpendicular to their bodies and kind of swagger back and forth as they walk, but this animal had legs going straight down from its body, like a mammal. It was about the size of a modern day rat. (5 years and 3349 days ago)
I always wondered how this is achieved? It is cool how it looks like it is outprinted instead of inprinted
