This was taken in my room; was a quiet afternoon.
Used Photo Filter, Curves & Hue&saturation adjustments. Cropped the sides. :) (5 years and 3319 days ago)
A unique subject matter but a different POV would have greatly improved it. For instance, a close up ground shot from the floor would have been interesting. Work on your point of view and your photos will improve. GL!

If I may, I think the issue with this image is that there is nothing that really draws attention in, especially when competing with such a strong background.
If you look at the objects on the left wall, it drags your eye down, and the thing that stands out the most is the red tassle (which leads the eye down and out of the picture).
I hope you don't think my criticism is too harsh, but I think you could work on the composition a little more.

Thank you Ray. You are right, it is "busy" with nothing to focus on. I appreciate any help I can get!

See the comment I left on another one of your entries. Same rules apply. Remember in photography, you can shoot from different angles and get a much better artistic POV. . Try that in a future contest. Shoot from angle that are not normally viewed to the common, like strait up from the floor. Shooting your subject from an unexpected POV will always create more interest. Hope that helps. GL!
